Discovery Leadership Institute partners with schools, educators, and communities to develop student leadership, strengthen civic engagement, deliver engaging NGSS-aligned STEM experiences, and create transformative learning opportunities that inspire students to lead, serve, and make a difference.
Our Story
Discovery Leadership Institute was founded on the belief that the most meaningful learning happens through discovery, experience, and service.
For more than 20 years, founder Tammy Eggert has partnered with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to create engaging learning experiences that inspire leadership, curiosity, and meaningful action. Her work has included youth leadership development with the Boys & Girls Club of Fresno County, outdoor and environmental education through the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, leadership and resiliency programs with Sanger Unified School District, and statewide civic education initiatives as Program Director for the Civic Education Center.
Today, Discovery Leadership Institute brings those experiences together to help schools develop student leadership, strengthen civic engagement, inspire discovery through NGSS-aligned STEM experiences, and create unforgettable learning opportunities.
